The other day, I made some oxtail soup for our family. It takes so long to put the oxtail soup on the table because of the preparation time. After boiling for hours and hours, cooling it down and skim the fat layer off the top, and repeat that again. Koreans believe that the soup is very nutritious and is often offered as a "power" food. I thought with the flu virus going around everywhere nowadays, the oxtail soup is what my family needs. Jakob tried the soup for the first time and he loved it! I hope this will give him some extra strength to fight off his snotty nose virus in a short period.
